حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ، الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْهِلاَلَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَصُومُوا ثَلاَثِينَ يَوْمًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Chaque fois que vous voyez le croissant de lune (du mois de Ramadan), commencez le jeûne. Et quand vous voyez (le croissant de Chawwal), rompez le jeûne. Et si le ciel est couvert pour vous, alors jeûnez trente jours. »

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Whenever you sight the new moon (of the month of Ramadan) observe fast. and when you sight it (the new moon of Shawwal) break it, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then observe fast for thirty days
