Sahih Muslim, 2448

Rapporté par Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a distribué le butin de guerre. Un homme a alors dit : « Cette distribution n’a pas été faite dans le but de plaire à Allah. » Je suis allé discrètement en informer le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il s’est mis très en colère et son visage est devenu rouge, au point que j’ai regretté de lui avoir rapporté cela. Il a ensuite dit : « Moussa a été éprouvé plus que cela, mais il a fait preuve de patience. »

Abdullah reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) distributed spoils (of war). Upon this a person said: This is a distribution In which the pleasure of Allah has not been sought. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and informed him in an undertone. He (the Holy Prophet) was deeply angry at this and his face became red till I wished that I had not made a mention of it to him. He (the Holy Prophet) then said: Moses was tormented more than this, but he showed patience
