Sahih Muslim, 2387

Rapporté par Hakim ibn Hizam رضي الله عنه : J’ai demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et il m’a donné. J’ai encore demandé, il m’a encore donné. J’ai encore demandé, il m’a encore donné, puis il a dit : « Cette richesse est agréable et douce ; celui qui la reçoit avec un cœur satisfait sera béni avec, mais celui qui la reçoit avec avidité ne sera pas béni, il sera comme celui qui mange sans jamais être rassasié. Et la main qui donne est meilleure que celle qui reçoit. »

Hakim b. Hizam reported:I begged the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he gave me. I again begged, he again gave me. I again begged, he again gave me, and then said: This property is green and sweet; he who receives it with a cheerful heart is blessed in it, and he who receives it with an avaricious mind would not be blessed in it, he being like one who eats without being satished, and the upper hand is better thad the lower hand
