Sahih Muslim, 2128

Rapporté par Umm Salama, l’épouse du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit la même chose que dans le hadith transmis par Abu Usama, avec cette précision qu’elle a dit : « Quand Abu Salama est décédé, j’ai dit : “Qui est meilleur qu’Abu Salama, le compagnon du Messager d’Allah ﷺ ?” Et Allah a décidé pour moi, j’ai donc prononcé ces paroles de l’invocation mentionnée plus haut, et j’ai épousé le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. »

Umm Salama, the wife of the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him), reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying like the hadith transmitted by Abu Usama, but with this addition that she said:" When Abu Salama died I said: Who is better than Abu Salama, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and Allah decided for me and I said (these words contained in the supplication mentioned above) and I was married to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
