Sahih Muslim, 1427

Rapporté par Abu Yunus, l’esclave affranchi de Aïcha رضي الله عنها : Aïcha m’a demandé de lui recopier un exemplaire du Coran et m’a dit : « Quand tu arrives à ce verset : “Préservez les prières et la prière du milieu” (2:238), préviens-moi. » Quand je suis arrivé à ce verset, je l’ai informée et elle m’a dicté ainsi : « Préservez les prières, la prière du milieu et la prière de l’après-midi, et tenez-vous debout devant Allah avec obéissance. » Aïcha رضي الله عنها a dit : « C’est ainsi que je l’ai entendu du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. »

Abu Yunus, the freed slave of 'A'isha said:'A'isha ordered me to transcribe a copy of the Qur'an for her and said: When you reach this verse:" Guard the prayers and the middle prayer" (ii. 238), inform me; so when I reached it, I informed her and she gave me dictation (like this): Guard the prayers and the middle prayer and the afternoon prayer, and stand up truly obedient to Allah. 'A'isha said: This is how I have heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
