Al-Muwatta de Malik, 45

La mère d'un fils de Ibrahim Ibn Abdel-Rahman Ibn Awf demanda à Oum Salama la femme du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah): «Je suis une femme qui marche dans des lieux immondes et laisse l'extrémité de mon vêtement traînant» (dois-je faire les ablutions lorsque je veux prier). Elle lui répondit: «L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) a dit: «(Le sable) fait débarasser les vêtements de toute impureté»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Umara from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim that the mother of the son of Ibrahim ibn Abd ar- Rahman ibn Awf questioned Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, "I am a woman who wears a long skirt and (sometimes) I walk in dirty places." Umm Salama replied, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'What follows (i.e. clean places) purifies it
