Shortening the Prayer
Sahih (authentique)« Mauquf Sahih » selon Salim al-Hilali
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ رَكِبَ إِلَى رِيمٍ فَقَصَرَ الصَّلاَةَ فِي مَسِيرِهِ ذَلِكَ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَذَلِكَ نَحْوٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةِ بُرُدٍ .
Salem Ibn Abdallah a rapporté que son père (Abdallah Ibn Omar) partit pour «Al-Rim»; il fit une prière abrégée au cours de ce voyage». Malek a dit: «Cette distance était, d'environ quatre bourods (environ 24 miles)Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibn Abdullah that his father rode to Rim and shortened the prayer on the journey.
