Ourwa a rapporté que l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah), au cours de sa maladie, se rendit (à la mosquée) et trouva Abou Bakr debout présidant la prière avec les hommes. Le voyant, Abou Bakr, voulait reculer, l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui fit signe de garder sa place; et il s'assit à côté de Abou Bakr, qui suivit la prière de l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) et les hommes suivirent Abou Bakr».
