Abou Houraira a rapporté: «L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) achevant une prière où il a récité à haute voix, il demanda aux fidèles: «l'un de vous, a-t-il récité le Coran avec moi»? Un homme répondit: «Oui, moi, O Envoyé d'Allah». Il lui dit: «Je me suis dit: pourquoi on ne me laisse pas réciter le Coran»? Les hommes, depuis, ont cessé de réciter en même temps avec l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) et cela quand il récitait à haute voix, après cette remarque qu'il leur a faite». Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ibn Ukayma al-Laythi from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished a prayer in which he had recited aloud and asked, "Did any of you recite with me just now?"
