Al-Muwatta de Malik, 1837

Aicha, la mère des croyants a rapporté, qu'après la mort de l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah), ses femmes voulaient envoyer Osman Ibn Affan auprès de Abou Bakr Al-Siddiq, lui demandant leurs parts de la succession de l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah). Alors Aicha leur répondit: «l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) n'a-t-il pas dit: nous n'avons pas à faire un héritage; et ce qui est laissé sera une aumône»
