Katan Ibn Wahb Ibn Oumair Ibn Al-Ajda' a rapporté que Youhanness, l'affranchi de Al-Zoubair Ibn Al-Awwam lui a appris, qu'étant assis chez Abdallah Ibn Omar, alors que c'était l'incursion (contre Yazid Ibn Mou'awia), une esclave vint le saluer en disant: «Je veux, ô Abou Abdul-Rahman, quitter la Médine, parceque que la vie y est si pénible». Abdallah Ibn Omar lui répondit: «Restes-y, ignorante; j'ai entendu l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) dire: «Toute personne supportant la vie dure à Médine, et la pénibilité de ses conditions, je lui serai intercesseur ou témoin le jour de la résurrection»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Qatan ibn Wahb ibn Umayr ibn al-Ajda that Yuhannas, the mawla of az-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam informed him that he was sitting with Abdullah ibn Umar during the troubles (at the time of al-Hajaj ibn Yusuf) .
