Al-Muwatta de Malik, 1548

Ibn Wa'la Al-Misri a rapporté qu'il a demandé Ibn Abas au sujet du jus du raisin, il lui répondit: «un homme avait offert à l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) une outre de vin; l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui dit: «Ne sais-tu pas que Allah l'a interdit»?. «Non, répondit l'homme». Un autre homme assis, à côté de lui, lui murmure en secret. L'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui demanda: «Que lui as-tu murmuré»? De le vendre, dit l'homme». Alors l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) lui dit: «Celui qui a interdit qu'il soit bu, l'a aussi interdit pour la vente». L'homme ainsi, ouvrit les deux outres et versa leur contenu»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that Ibn Wala al-Misri asked Abdullah ibn Abbas about what is squeezed from the grapes. Ibn Abbas replied, "A man gave the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, a small water-skin of wine. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him, 'Don't you know that Allah has made it haram?' He said, 'No.' Then a man at his side whispered to him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked what he had whispered, and the man replied, 'I told him to sell it.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'The One who made drinking it haram has made selling it haram.' The man then opened the water- skins and poured out what was in them
