Al-Muwatta de Malik, 150

Al- Mazini a rapporté d'après son père que Abou Sa'id Al Khoudri lui a dit: «Je vois que tu aimes les moutons et le désert. Quand tu es avec tes moutons, ou dans le désert, et que tu appelleras à la prière, hausse la voix car aucun génie, un être humain, ni ce qui est inanimé, n'entendra la portée de la voix du muezzin, sans qu'il ne témoigne, en sa faveur, le jour de la résurrection». Abou Sa'id ajouta: «C'est ce que j'ai entendu de la bouche de l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah)»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd arRahman ibn Abdullah ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Abu Sasaca al-Ansari, and later al-Mazini, that his father told him that Abu Said al-Khudri had said to him, "I see that you love sheep and the desert.
