وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، يَقُولُ عِدَّةُ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ الأَقْرَاءُ وَإِنْ تَبَاعَدَتْ .
Yahya related to me from Malik that he heard Ibn Shihab say, "The idda of the divorced woman is reckoned by the menstrual cycles even if she is estranged ."
