Sunan Ibn Majah, 3808

Rapporté par Juwairiyah : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) passa près d'elle alors qu'il priait la prière du matin, ou juste après, et elle était en train de se rappeler Allah. Il revint quand le soleil s'était levé – ou, selon un des rapporteurs, à midi – et elle était toujours occupée à cela. Il dit : « J'ai dit quatre paroles, trois fois, depuis que je t'ai quittée, et elles sont plus grandes et plus lourdes que tout ce que tu as dit : "Subhan-Allahi 'adada khalqihi, Subhan-Allahi rida nafsihi, Subhan-Allahi zinata 'arshihi, Subhan-Allahi midada kalimatihi" ("Gloire à Allah autant que le nombre de Ses créatures, gloire à Allah autant que ce qui Lui plaît, gloire à Allah autant que le poids de Son Trône, gloire à Allah autant que l'encre de Ses paroles"). »

It was narrated that Juwairiyah said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by her when he prayed the morning prayer, or after he prayed the morning prayer, and she was remembering Allah. He came back when the sun had risen" - or he (one of the narrators) said, "at midday - and she was still doing that. He said: 'I have said four words, three times, since I left you, and they are greater and weigh more heavily than what you have said. They are: Subhan-Allahi 'adada khalqiha, Subhan-Allahi rida nafsihi, Subhan-Allahi zinata 'arshihi, Subhan-Allah midada kalimatihi (Glory is to Allah, as much as the number of His creation, glory is to Allah as much as pleases Him, glory is to Allah as much as the weight of His Throne, glory is to Allah as much as the ink of His words)
