Sunan Ibn Majah, 3603

Rapporté par ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, d’après son père, que son grand-père a dit : Nous sommes venus avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) à Thaniyyat Adhakhir. Il s’est tourné vers moi, et je portais un manteau fin teint au carthame, et il a dit : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » J’ai compris qu’il n’aimait pas cela. Je suis rentré chez moi alors qu’ils chauffaient le four, et j’ai jeté le manteau dedans. Le lendemain, je suis revenu vers lui et il a dit : « Ô ‘Abdullah, qu’est-il arrivé au manteau fin ? » Je lui ai raconté ce que j’avais fait et il a dit : « Pourquoi ne l’as-tu pas donné à quelqu’un de ta famille ? Il n’y a pas de mal à ce que les femmes le portent. »

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:“We came with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was Thaniyyat Adhakhir. He turned to me, and I was wearing a thin cloak dyed with safflower, and said: ‘What is this?’ And I realized that he disliked it. I came to my family when they were heating their oven and threw it (in the oven). Then I came to him the following day and he said: ‘O ‘Abdullah, what happened to the thin cloak?’ I told him (what I had done) and he said: ‘Why did you not give it to some of your family to wear, for there is nothing wrong with it for women.’”
