Sunan Ibn Majah, 3509

Rapporté par Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif : ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah est passé devant Sahl bin Hunaif alors qu’il se baignait et a dit : « Je n’ai jamais vu une peau aussi belle. » Aussitôt, Sahl est tombé au sol. On l’a amené au Prophète (ﷺ) et on a dit : « Sahl a eu une crise. » Il a dit : « Qui soupçonnez-vous à ce sujet ? » Ils ont répondu : « ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah. » Il a dit : « Pourquoi l’un de vous voudrait-il tuer son frère ? Si vous voyez quelque chose qui vous plaît chez quelqu’un, priez pour qu’Allah le bénisse. » Puis il a demandé de l’eau, a dit à ‘Amir de faire les ablutions, puis il s’est lavé le visage, les bras jusqu’aux coudes, les genoux et l’intérieur de son vêtement, puis il lui a dit de verser l’eau sur Sahl

It was narrated that Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif said:“ ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah passed by Sahl bin Hunaif when he was having a bath, and said: ‘I have never seen such beautiful skin.’ Straightaway, he (Sahl) fell to the ground. He was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and it was said: ‘Sahl has had a fit.’ He said: ‘Whom do you accuse with regard to him?’ They said: “ ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah.’ They said: ‘Why would anyone of you kill his brother? If he sees something that he likes, then let him pray for blessing for him.’ Then he called for water, and he told ‘Amir to perform ablution, then he washed his face and his arms up to the elbows, his knees and inside his lower garment, then he told him to pour the water over him.”
