Sunan Ibn Majah, 3274

Rapporté par ‘Ikrash bin Dhu’aib : On a apporté au Prophète (ﷺ) un plat rempli de tharid et de viande grasse, et nous avons commencé à en manger. Ma main allait partout, alors il m’a dit : « Ô ‘Ikrash, mange à un seul endroit, car c’est le même plat. » Ensuite, on nous a apporté une assiette avec différents types de dattes fraîches, et la main du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) allait partout dans l’assiette. Il a dit : « Ô ‘Ikrash, mange où tu veux, car ce ne sont pas toutes les mêmes. »

It was narrated that ‘Ikrash bin Dhu’aib said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) was brought a bowl filled with Tharid and fatty meat, and we started to eat from it. My hand was wandering all over, so he said: ‘O ‘Ikrash, eat from one spot, for it is all the same food.’ Then we were brought a plate on which were different kinds of fresh dates, and he hand of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went all around the plate. He said: ‘O ‘Ikrash, eat from wherever you want, for they are not all the same.’”
