Sunan Ibn Majah, 2680

Rapporté par Amr bin Shu'aib, d’après son père, d’après son grand-père : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) en criant. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lui a dit : “Qu’as-tu ?” Il a répondu : “Mon maître m’a vu embrasser une de ses esclaves, alors il m’a coupé le sexe.” Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Amène-moi cet homme.” On l’a cherché mais on ne l’a pas trouvé, alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Va, tu es libre.” L’homme a demandé : “Qui me protégera, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? Et si mon maître m’asservit à nouveau ?” Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a répondu : “Ta protection sera assurée par chaque croyant ou musulman.”

Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father that his grandfather said:“A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) screaming. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him: 'What is the matter with you?' He said: 'My master saw me kissing a slave woman of his, so he cut off my penis.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Take me to the man.' He was sought but could not be found, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Go, for you are free.' He said: 'Who will protect me, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? What if my master enslaves me again?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Your protection will be (incumbent upon) every believer or Muslim.'”
