The Chapters on Blood Money

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ شَبِيبِ بْنِ غَرْقَدَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ فِي حِجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ‏ "‏ أَلاَ لاَ يَجْنِي جَانٍ إِلاَّ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ لاَ يَجْنِي وَالِدٌ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ عَلَى وَالِدِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Sulaiman bin Amr bin Ahwas, dont le père a dit : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire pendant le pèlerinage d’Adieu : "Aucun criminel ne commet un crime sans en subir lui-même la punition. Aucun père ne peut faire subir une punition à son fils à cause de son crime, et aucun fils ne peut faire subir une punition à son père

It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Amr bin Ahwas that his father said:I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying during the Farewell pilgrimage: “No criminal commits a crime but he brings. (the punishment for that) upon himself. No father can bring punishment upon his son by his crime, and no son can bring punishment upon his father.”
