Sunan Ibn Majah, 2004

Rapporté par 'Aishah : Ibn Zam'ah et Sa'd (Ibn Abu Waqqas) ont présenté un différend au Prophète au sujet du fils de la servante de Zam'ah. Sa'd a dit : "Ô Messager d’Allah, mon frère (Utbah bin Abu Waqqas) a laissé dans son testament que lorsque j’irai à La Mecque, je devrais chercher le fils de la servante de Zam'ah et m’en occuper." 'Abd bin Zam’ah a dit : "C’est mon frère et le fils de la servante de mon père ; il est né sur le lit de mon père." Le Prophète ﷺ a vu qu’il ressemblait à 'Utbah et a dit : "Il est à toi, ô 'Abd bin Zam'ah. L’enfant appartient au lit. Observe le hijab devant lui, ô Saudah." (sahih)

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:Ibn Zam'ah and Sa'd (Ibn Abu Waqqas) referred a dispute to the Prophet concerning the son of Zam'ah's slave woman. Sa'd said : " O Messenger of Allah my brother (Utbah bin Abu Waqqas) left instructions in his will that when I come to Makkah, I should look for the son of the slave woman of Zam'ah and take him into my care." 'Abd bin Zam’ah said: "He is my brother and the son of the slave woman of my father; he was born on my father's bed." The Prophet ffi saw that he resembled 'Utbah, and said: "He belongs to you, O 'Abd bin Zam'ah. The child is for the bed. Observe Hijab before him, O Saudah." (sahih)
