Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَنْبَأَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " أَوَّلُ مَا يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَلاَتُهُ. فَإِنْ أَكْمَلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ نَافِلَةً. فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَكْمَلَهَا، قَالَ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ لِمَلاَئِكَتِهِ: انْظُرُوا، هَلْ تَجِدُونَ لِعَبْدِي مِنْ تَطَوُّعٍ؟ فَأَكْمِلُوا بِهَا مَا ضَيَّعَ مِنْ فَرِيضَتِهِ . ثُمَّ تُؤْخَذُ الأَعْمَالُ عَلَى حَسَبِ ذَلِكَ " .
Rapporté par Tamim Dari : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “La première chose sur laquelle une personne sera interrogée au Jour de la Résurrection sera sa prière. Si elle est complète, alors les prières surérogatoires seront aussi comptées pour lui comme un supplément. Si elle n’est pas complète, Allah dira à Ses anges : ‘Regardez si vous trouvez des prières surérogatoires pour Mon serviteur, et utilisez-les pour compléter ce qui manque à ses prières obligatoires.’ Ensuite, tous ses actes seront jugés de la même manière.”It was narrated from Tamim Dari that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:“The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is complete, then the voluntary (prayers) will also be recorded for him (as an increase). If it is not complete then Allah will say to His angels: ‘Look and see whether you find any voluntary prayers for My slave, and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.’ Then all his deeds will be reckoned in like manner.”Degrés donnés par les savants
