Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ كَانَ بِي النَّاصُورُ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ صَلِّ قَائِمًا. فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا. فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ، فَعَلَى جَنْبٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par ‘Imran bin Husain : Je souffrais de Nasur* et j’ai demandé au Prophète (ﷺ) au sujet de la prière. Il a dit : “Fais la prière debout ; si tu ne peux pas, alors assis ; et si tu ne peux pas, alors couché sur le côté.”

It was narrated that ‘Imran bin Husain said:“I suffered from Nasur* and I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about prayer. He said: ‘Perform prayer standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot then while lying on your side.’”
