Sunan Ibn Majah, 107

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Nous étions assis avec le Prophète et il a dit : « Pendant que je dormais, je me suis vu au Paradis (en rêve), et j’ai vu une femme faire ses ablutions près d’un palais. J’ai demandé : “À qui appartient ce palais ?” Elle a répondu : “À ‘Umar.” Je me suis souvenu de sa jalousie protectrice, alors je me suis détourné et je suis parti. » Abu Hurairah a dit : ‘Umar s’est mis à pleurer et a dit : « Que mon père et ma mère soient sacrifiés pour toi, ô Messager d’Allah ! Est-ce que je pourrais ressentir de la jalousie envers toi ? »

Abu Hurairah said:"We were sitting with the Prophet and he said: 'While I was sleeping I saw myself in Paradise (in a dream), and I saw a woman performing ablution beside a palace. I asked: "Whose palace is this?" She said: "'Umar's." I remembered his protective jealousy, so I turned away and left.'" Abu Hurairah said: ''Umar wept and said: 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! Would I feel any protective jealousy against you?
