Sahih al-Bukhari, 992

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Une fois, j’ai passé la nuit chez Maimuna (ma tante). J’ai dormi en travers du lit tandis que l’Envoyé d’Allah et sa femme dormaient dans le sens de la longueur. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dormi jusqu’à minuit ou presque, puis il s’est réveillé, s’est frotté le visage et a récité dix versets de la sourate « Al-`Imran ». Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est allé vers une outre en cuir, a fait ses ablutions de la manière la plus parfaite, puis il s’est levé pour prier. J’ai fait de même et je me suis placé à côté de lui. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a mis sa main droite sur ma tête, m’a tordu l’oreille, puis il a prié deux rak`at cinq fois, puis il a terminé sa prière par le witr. Il s’est allongé jusqu’à ce que le muezzin vienne, puis il s’est levé et a prié deux rak`at (Sounna du Fajr), puis il est sorti pour la prière du Fajr

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Once I passed the night in the house of Maimuna (his aunt). I slept across the bed while Allah's Apostle and his wife slept length-wise. The Prophet (ﷺ) slept till midnight or nearly so and woke up rubbing his face and recited ten verses from Surat "Al-`Imran." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went towards a leather skin and performed ablution in the most perfect way and then stood for the prayer. I did the same and stood beside him. The Prophet (ﷺ) put his right hand on my head, twisted my ear and then prayed two rak`at five times and then ended his prayer with witr. He laid down till the Mu'adh-dhin came then he stood up and offered two rak`at (Sunnah of Fajr prayer) and then went out and offered the Fajr prayer. (See Hadith)
