Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah : Le jour de la Khandaq, `Umar est venu en maudissant les mécréants de Quraish et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Je n’ai pas accompli la prière du `Asr et le soleil s’est couché. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a répondu : « Par Allah ! Moi aussi, je n’ai pas encore fait la prière. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) est alors allé à Buthan, a fait ses ablutions, a accompli la prière du `Asr après le coucher du soleil, puis a fait la prière du Maghrib juste après

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:On the day of the Khandaq `Umar came, cursing the disbelievers of Quraish and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have not offered the `Asr prayer and the sun has set." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "By Allah! I too, have not offered the prayer yet.
