Sahih al-Bukhari, 7532

Rapporté par `Abdullah : Un homme a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Quel est le plus grand péché aux yeux d’Allah ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Associer à Allah des partenaires alors que c’est Lui seul qui t’a créé. » L’homme a dit : « Et après ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Tuer ton fils par crainte qu’il partage ta nourriture. » L’homme a dit : « Et après ? » Le Prophète a dit : « Commettre l’adultère avec la femme de ton voisin. » Puis Allah a révélé pour confirmer cela : « Et ceux qui n’invoquent pas avec Allah une autre divinité, ne tuent pas la vie qu’Allah a rendue sacrée sauf pour une juste raison, et ne commettent pas l’adultère. Et quiconque fait cela subira une punition. »

Narrated `Abdullah:A man said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Which sin is the biggest in Allah's Sight?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To set up rivals unto Allah though He Alone created you." That man said, "What is next?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To kill your son lest he should share your food with you.'' The man said, "What is next?" The Prophet said, "To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor." Then Allah revealed in confirmation of that: "And those who invoke not with Allah any other god, nor kill such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment
