Sahih al-Bukhari, 7406

Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah : Lorsque ce verset fut révélé : — « Dis (Ô Muhammad !) : Il a le pouvoir d’envoyer sur vous un châtiment d’en haut » (6.65), le Prophète (ﷺ) dit : « Je cherche refuge auprès de Ton Visage. » Allah révéla : « ...ou de dessous vos pieds. » (6.65) Le Prophète (ﷺ) dit alors : « Je cherche refuge auprès de Ton Visage ! » Puis Allah révéla : « ...ou de vous diviser en groupes ennemis. » (6.65) À cela, le Prophète (ﷺ) dit : « Cela est plus facile. »

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:when this Verse:--'Say (O Muhammad!): He has Power to send torments on you from above,' (6.65) was revealed; The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I take refuge with Your Face."
