Sahih al-Bukhari, 7359

Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui a mangé de l’ail ou de l’oignon doit s’éloigner de nous, ou s’éloigner de notre mosquée et rester chez lui. » Ibn Wahb a dit : « Une fois, un plat plein de légumes cuits a été apporté au Prophète (ﷺ) à Badr. Sentant une mauvaise odeur, il a demandé ce que contenait ce plat et on l’a informé des sortes de légumes. Il a alors dit : “Approchez-le,” et on l’a rapproché d’un de ses compagnons qui était avec lui. Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) l’a vu, il n’a pas voulu en manger et a dit (à son compagnon) : “Mange, car je parle en secret à ceux à qui tu ne parles pas.” »

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has eaten garlic or onion, should keep away from us, or should keep away from our mosque and should stay at home." Ibn Wahb said, "Once a plate full of cooked vegetables was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) at Badr. Detecting a bad smell from it, he asked about the dish and was informed of the kinds of vegetables in contained. He then said, "Bring it near," and so it was brought near to one of his companions who was with him. When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw it, he disliked eating it and said (to his companion), "Eat, for I talk in secret to ones whom you do not talk to
