Afflictions and the End of the World

وَقَالَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ الأَشْعَرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ تَعْلَمُ الأَيَّامَ الَّتِي ذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيَّامَ الْهَرْجِ‏.‏ نَحْوَهُ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُمُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ ‏"‏‏.‏

Rapporté par Ibn Mas`ud : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Les gens les plus mauvais seront ceux qui vivront au moment où l’Heure sera établie. »
