Interpretation of Dreams

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أُرَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ رَأَيْتُ فِي رُؤْيَا أَنِّي هَزَزْتُ سَيْفًا فَانْقَطَعَ صَدْرُهُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا أُصِيبَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، ثُمَّ هَزَزْتُهُ أُخْرَى، فَعَادَ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا جَاءَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْفَتْحِ، وَاجْتِمَاعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ‏"‏‏.‏

Rapporté par Abu Musa : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « J’ai vu en rêve que j’agitais une épée et qu’elle s’est cassée au milieu, et cela représentait les pertes subies par les croyants le jour (de la bataille) d’Uhud. Ensuite, j’ai agité l’épée à nouveau, et elle est devenue meilleure qu’avant, et cela représentait la Conquête (de La Mecque) qu’Allah a réalisée et le rassemblement des croyants. »

Narrated Abu Musa:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw in a dream that I waved a sword and it broke in the middle, and behold, that symbolized the casualties the believers suffered on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud. Then I waved the sword again, and it became better than it had ever been before, and behold, that symbolized the Conquest (of Mecca) which Allah brought about and the gathering of the believers
