Sahih al-Bukhari, 6934

Rapporté par Yusair bin `Amr : J’ai demandé à Sahl bin Hunaif : « As-tu entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire quelque chose à propos des Khawarij ? » Il a répondu : « Je l’ai entendu dire, en pointant sa main vers l’Irak : “Il apparaîtra là-bas (en Irak) des gens qui réciteront le Coran, mais il ne dépassera pas leur gorge, et ils sortiront de l’islam aussi vite qu’une flèche traverse le corps d’un gibier.” »

Narrated Yusair bin `Amr:I asked Sahl bin Hunaif, "Did you hear the Prophet (ﷺ) saying anything about Al-Khawarij?" He said, "I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards Iraq. "There will appear in it (i.e, Iraq) some people who will recite the Qur'an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out from (leave) Islam as an arrow darts through the game's body
