Sahih al-Bukhari, 6538

Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Prophète d’Allah avait l’habitude de dire : « Un mécréant sera amené le Jour de la Résurrection et on lui demandera : ‘Si tu avais autant d’or que la terre entière, voudrais-tu l’offrir pour te racheter ?’ Il répondra : ‘Oui.’ Alors il lui sera dit : ‘On t’a demandé quelque chose de bien plus facile que cela (de n’adorer qu’Allah, c’est-à-dire d’accepter l’islam), mais tu as refusé.’ »

Narrated Anas bin Malik:Allah's Prophet used to say, "A disbeliever will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be asked. "Suppose you had as much gold as to fill the earth, would you offer it to ransom yourself?" He will reply, "Yes." Then it will be said to him, "You were asked for something easier than that (to join none in worship with Allah (i.e. to accept Islam, but you refused)
