Call to Prayers (Adhaan)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلاَنِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُرِيدَانِ السَّفَرَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِذَا أَنْتُمَا خَرَجْتُمَا فَأَذِّنَا ثُمَّ أَقِيمَا ثُمَّ لِيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا ‏"‏‏.‏

Rapporté par Malik bin Huwairith : Deux hommes sont venus voir le Prophète (ﷺ) avec l’intention de partir en voyage. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Quand vous partez tous les deux, faites l’Adhan puis l’Iqama, et que le plus âgé d’entre vous dirige la prière. »
