Sahih al-Bukhari, 6241

Rapporté par Sahl ibn Sa`d : Un homme a regardé à travers un trou rond dans la maison du Prophète, alors que le Prophète (ﷺ) avait un peigne en fer avec lequel il se grattait la tête. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si j’avais su que tu regardais par le trou, je t’aurais crevé l’œil avec (le peigne). » En vérité, l’ordre de demander la permission d’entrer a été donné à cause de ce genre de regard, pour qu’on ne regarde pas la vie privée des autres sans droit

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:A man peeped through a round hole into the dwelling place of the Prophet, while the Prophet (ﷺ) had a Midray (an iron comb) with which he was scratching his head. the Prophet (ﷺ) said, " Had known you were looking (through the hole), I would have pierced your eye with it (i.e., the comb)." Verily! The order of taking permission to enter has been enjoined because of that sight, (that one should not look unlawfully at the state of others). (See Hadith No. 807, Vol)
