حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ سَمُّوا بِاسْمِي، وَلاَ تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي، فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا قَاسِمٌ أَقْسِمُ بَيْنَكُمْ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَرَوَاهُ أَنَسٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏

Rapporté par Jabir bin `Abdullah Al-Ansari : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Donnez-vous mon nom, mais ne prenez pas ma Kuniya, car je suis Al-Qasim (le distributeur), et je distribue parmi vous les bienfaits d'Allah. » Ce récit a aussi été rapporté par Anas, qui a dit que le Prophète a tenu ces propos

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah Al-Ansari:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Name yourselves after me (by my name) but do not call (yourselves) by my Kuniya (1), for I am Al-Qasim (distributor), and I distribute among you Allah's blessings."
