حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَآخَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ ‏"‏‏.‏

Rapporté par Anas : Quand `Abdur-Rahman est arrivé chez nous, le Prophète (ﷺ) a établi un lien de fraternité entre lui et Sa`d bin Ar-Rabi`. Une fois, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Puisque tu t’es marié, organise un repas de noces, même si ce n’est qu’avec un seul mouton. »
