Rapporté par `Abdullah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) s’est fait faire une bague en or, et quand il la portait, il tournait la pierre vers la paume de sa main. Alors les gens se sont aussi fait faire des bagues en or. Le Prophète (ﷺ) est ensuite monté sur le minbar, et après avoir glorifié et loué Allah, il a dit : « Je l’ai fait faire pour moi, mais maintenant je ne la porterai plus jamais. » Il l’a jetée, et alors les gens ont aussi jeté leurs bagues. (Juwairiya, un des rapporteurs, a dit : Je pense qu’Anas a dit que le Prophète (ﷺ) portait la bague à la main droite

Narrated `Abdullah:The Prophet (ﷺ) had a golden ring made for himself, and when he wore it. he used to turn its stone toward the palm of his! hand. So the people too had gold made for themselves. The Prophet (ﷺ) then ascended the pulpit, and after glorifying and praising Allah, he said, "I had it made for me, but now I will never wear it again." He threw it away, and then the people threw away their rings too. (Juwairiya, a subnarrator, said: I think Anas said that the Prophet (ﷺ) was wearing the ring in his right hand
