Sahih al-Bukhari, 5723

Rapporté par Nazi‘ : ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar a dit : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « La fièvre vient de la chaleur de l’Enfer, alors éteignez-la (rafraîchissez-la) avec de l’eau. » Nafi‘ a ajouté : Quand ‘Abdullah avait de la fièvre, il disait : « Ô Allah ! Éloigne de nous le châtiment. »

Narrated Nazi':`Abdullah bin `Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Fever is from the heat of Hell, so put it out (cool it) with water.' " Nafi` added: `Abdullah used to say, "O Allah! Relieve us from the punishment," (when he suffered from fever)
