Sahih al-Bukhari, 5483

Rapporté par Adi bin Hatim : J'ai demandé au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) : « Nous chassons avec ces chiens. » Il a dit : « Si tu lâches tes chiens dressés sur un gibier en mentionnant le nom d'Allah, alors tu peux manger ce qu'ils attrapent pour toi, même s'ils tuent l'animal. Mais tu ne dois pas en manger si le chien en a mangé, car il est possible qu'il ait attrapé le gibier pour lui-même. Et si d'autres chiens se joignent au tien pour chasser, alors n'en mange pas. »

Narrated Adi bin Hatim:I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). "We hunt with the help of these hounds." He said, "If you let loose your trained hounds after a game, and mention the name of Allah, then you can eat what the hounds catch for you, even if they killed the game. But you should not eat of it if the hound has eaten of it, for then it is likely that the hound has caught the game for itself. And if other hounds join your hound in hunting the game, then do not eat of it
