Sahih al-Bukhari, 5444

Rapporté par `Abdullah ibn `Umar : Alors que nous étions assis avec le Prophète, on lui a apporté des dattes fraîches. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Il y a un arbre parmi les arbres qui est aussi béni qu’un musulman. » Je pensais que c’était le palmier-dattier et je voulais dire : « C’est le palmier-dattier, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! » mais j’ai vu que j’étais le plus jeune des dix hommes présents, alors je me suis tu. Puis le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « C’est le palmier-dattier. »

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:While we were sitting with the Prophet, fresh dates were brought to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a tree among the trees which is as blessed as a Muslim" I thought that it was the date palm tree and intended to say, "It is the date-palm tree, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" but I looked behind to see that I was the tenth and youngest of ten men present there, so I kept quiet' Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is the datepalm tree
