Sahih al-Bukhari, 5318

Rapporté par Um Salama (l’épouse du Prophète) : Une femme de Bani Aslam, appelée Subai’a, est devenue veuve alors qu’elle était enceinte. Abu As-Sanabil bin Ba'kak lui a demandé sa main, mais elle a refusé en disant : « Par Allah, je ne peux pas me marier tant que je n’ai pas terminé l’une des deux périodes prescrites. » Environ dix jours après avoir accouché, elle est allée voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et il lui a dit : « Tu peux te marier maintenant. »

Narrated Um Salama:(the wife of the Prophet) A lady from Bani Aslam, called Subai'a, become a widow while she was pregnant. Abu As-Sanabil bin Ba'kak demanded her hand in marriage, but she refused to marry him and said, "By Allah, I cannot marry him unless I have completed one of the two prescribed periods." About ten days later (after having delivered her child), she went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said (to her), "You can marry now
