Sahih al-Bukhari, 4906

Rapporté par Musa bin `Uqba : `Abdullah bin Al-Fadl m’a rapporté qu’Anas bin Malik a dit : « J’étais très attristé par ceux qui ont été tués lors de la bataille d’Al-Harra. Quand Zaid bin Arqam a appris ma grande tristesse (pour les Ansar tués), il m’a écrit une lettre disant qu’il avait entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : Ô Allah ! Pardonne aux Ansar et aux enfants des Ansar. Le sous-rappoteur, Ibn Al-Fadl, n’est pas sûr que le Prophète (ﷺ) ait aussi dit : Et à leurs petits-enfants. Certains de ceux qui étaient présents ont interrogé Anas (à propos de Zaid). Il a dit : « C’est de lui que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : C’est celui dont Allah a attesté la bonne ouïe. »

Narrated Musa bin `Uqba:`Abdullah bin Al-Fadl told me that Anas bin Malik said, "I was much grieve over those who had been killed in the Battle of Al-Harra. When Zaid bin Arqarr heard of my intense grief (over the killed Ansar), he wrote a letter to me saying that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, O Allah! Forgive the Ansar and the Ansar children. The subnarrator, Ibn Al-Fadl, is not sure whether the Prophet (ﷺ) also said, And their grand-children." Some of those who were present, asked Anas (about Zaid). He said, "He (Zaid) is the one about whom Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'He is the one whose sound hearing Allah testified
