Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَ بِكِتَابِهِ إِلَى كِسْرَى مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَدْفَعَهُ إِلَى عَظِيمِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، فَدَفَعَهُ عَظِيمُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ إِلَى كِسْرَى، فَلَمَّا قَرَأَهُ مَزَّقَهُ ـ فَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّ ابْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ ـ فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُمَزَّقُوا كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ.
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a envoyé une lettre à Khosrau avec ‘Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi et lui a dit de la remettre au gouverneur de Bahreïn. Le gouverneur de Bahreïn l’a transmise à Khosrau, qui, après l’avoir lue, l’a déchirée en morceaux. (Le sous-narrateur ajoute : « Je pense qu’Ibn Al-Musayyab a dit : ‘Le Messager d’Allah a invoqué (Allah) pour qu’ils soient tous déchirés, Khosrau et ses compagnons.’ »Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent a letter to Khosrau with `Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi and told him to hand it over to the governor of Al-Bahrain. The governor of Al-Bahrain handed it over to Khosrau, and when he read the latter, he tore it into pieces. (The sub-narrator added, "I think that Ibn Al-Musaiyab said, 'Allah's Apostle invoked (Allah) to tear them all (Khosrau and his companions) totally into piecesDegrés donnés par les savants
