Sahih al-Bukhari, 4350

Rapporté par Buraida : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a envoyé `Ali auprès de Khalid pour rapporter le Khumus (du butin), et je n’aimais pas `Ali. `Ali avait pris un bain (après avoir eu un rapport avec une esclave du Khumus). J’ai dit à Khalid : « Tu ne vois pas cela (c’est-à-dire `Ali) ? » Quand nous sommes arrivés auprès du Prophète (ﷺ), je lui ai parlé de cela. Il a dit : « Ô Buraida ! Détestes-tu `Ali ? » J’ai répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Tu le détestes alors qu’il mérite plus que cela du Khumus. »

Narrated Buraida:The Prophet (ﷺ) sent `Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated `Ali, and `Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. `Ali)?" When we reached the Prophet (ﷺ) I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate `Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumlus
