Sahih al-Bukhari, 4026

Rapporté par Ibn Shihab : Voici les batailles du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) auxquelles il a participé, et en parlant de la bataille de Badr, il a dit : « Pendant que les cadavres des polythéistes étaient jetés dans le puits, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) leur a dit : “Avez-vous trouvé vrai ce que votre Seigneur vous avait promis ?” » ‘Abdullah a dit : « Certains compagnons du Prophète ont dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Tu parles à des morts.” Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a répondu : “Vous n’entendez pas mieux que ce qu’ils entendent.” Le nombre total de combattants musulmans de Quraish qui ont combattu à Badr et reçu leur part du butin était de 81 hommes. » Az-Zubair a dit : « Quand on a distribué les parts, ils étaient 101. Mais Allah sait mieux. »

Narrated Ibn Shihab:These were the battles of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (which he fought), and while mentioning (the Badr battle) he said, "While the corpses of the pagans were being thrown into the well, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said (to them), 'Have you found what your Lord promised true?" `Abdullah said, "Some of the Prophet's companions said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! You are addressing dead people.' Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, 'You do not hear what I am saying, better than they.' The total number of Muslim fighters from Quraish who fought in the battle of Badr and were given their share of the booty, were 81 men." Az-Zubair said, "When their shares were distributed, their number was 101 men. But Allah knows it better
