Sahih al-Bukhari, 3893

Rapporté par 'Ubada bin As Samit : J’étais l’un des Naqibs qui ont donné le pacte d’allégeance ('Aqaba) au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Nous lui avons juré que nous n’adorerions rien d’autre qu’Allah, que nous ne volerions pas, que nous ne commettrions pas de relations interdites, que nous ne tuerions pas une personne dont Allah a interdit le meurtre sauf en droit, que nous ne nous volerions pas les uns les autres, et qu’on ne nous promettait pas le Paradis si nous faisions ces péchés. Si nous en commettions un, Allah jugerait à ce sujet

Narrated 'Ubada bin As Samit:I was one of the Naqibs who gave the ('Aqaba) Pledge of Allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). We gave the pledge of allegiance to him that we would not worship anything other than Allah, would not steal, would not commit illegal sexual intercourse, would not kill a person whose killing Allah has made illegal except rightfully, would not rob each other, and we would not be promised Paradise if we did the above sins, then if we committed one of the above sins, Allah will give His Judgment concerning it
