حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ ‏ "‏ لأَبْعَثَنَّ ـ يَعْنِي عَلَيْكُمْ ـ يَعْنِي أَمِينًا ـ حَقَّ أَمِينٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَأَشْرَفَ أَصْحَابُهُ، فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ رضى الله عنه‏.‏

Rapporté par Hudhaifa : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit aux gens de Najran : « Je vais vous envoyer l’homme le plus digne de confiance. » (Chacun des compagnons du Prophète (ﷺ) espérait être cette personne.) Il a ensuite envoyé Abu 'Ubaida
