Sahih al-Bukhari, 3600

Rapporté par Sasaa : Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri m’a dit : « Je remarque que tu aimes les moutons et que tu en prends soin ; alors occupe-toi bien d’eux et de leur nourriture, car j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : ‘Un temps viendra où le meilleur bien d’un musulman sera un troupeau de moutons qu’il emmènera sur les sommets des montagnes et dans les endroits où il pleut, pour fuir avec sa religion et la protéger des épreuves.’ »

Narrated Sasaa:Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said to me, "I notice that you like sheep and you keep them; so take care of them and their food, for I have heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'A time will come upon the people when the best of a Muslim's property will be sheep, which he will take to the tops of mountains and to the places of rain-falls to run away with his religion in order to save it from afflictions
