Sahih al-Bukhari, 3579

Rapporté par `Abdullah : Nous considérions les miracles comme des bénédictions d’Allah, alors que vous, vous les voyez comme des avertissements. Un jour, nous étions en voyage avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et nous manquions d’eau. Il dit : « Apportez-moi l’eau qui vous reste. » Les gens apportèrent un récipient contenant un peu d’eau. Il mit sa main dedans et dit : « Venez vers l’eau bénie, la bénédiction vient d’Allah. » J’ai vu l’eau couler entre les doigts du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), et sans aucun doute, nous avons entendu la nourriture glorifier Allah pendant qu’il la mangeait

Narrated `Abdullah:We used to consider miracles as Allah's Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, "Bring the water remaining with you." The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, "Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) , and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him)
